GenHunter is a biotechnology company founded in 1992 that provides a wide range of technologies, products, and services for life science research. 

Our newest technology is mAbScreen (= Monoclonal Antibody Screening), a revolutionary new technique for high-throughput testing of antibody-based biologic drugs (Fc-tag, mAbs, etc). mAbScreen provides a more accurate way to quantify intact protein production while concurrently testing for functionality, making clone selection much easier. Kits are available for inflammation, cancer, osteoporosis, lupus, HIV, etc. with many more in development. 

Another exciting technology is Trimer-Tag [4 U.S. patents; pending European & Asian patents] which allows production of "secreted" trimeric biological proteins by taking advantage of the properties of collagen, capable of efficient self-trimerazation. It offers a new platform for the creation of trimeric soluble receptors and antibodies for more efficient targeting of corresponding disease-causing homotrimeric ligands, such as the TNF family of cytokines and HIV gp120. 

Other major technologies and product lines are: 
- AP-TAG ligand-receptor interaction system [2 U.S. patents], which has revolutionized the way cell surface receptors and ligands are detected and cloned. 

- Differential display (DD) [3 U.S. patents, 1 Japanese patent] is a differential gene expression technology that was invented by the founder of GenHunter in 1992. It has been used in over 4000 publications.
